Sabrina M. Risley, owner and founder of Behind The Moon, Inc., launched the company in October of 2003 with the first networking event taking place in June, 2004. Sabrina calls upon more than 20 years experience in executive recruiting, corporate training and vendor relations to do what she does today… connect entrepreneurs and professionals for the purposes of networking, learning practical skills and giving back to their community. As owner and founder of Behind The Moon, Inc., Sabrina and her team organize several monthly networking events, providing a unique means for entrepreneurs to promote and grow their business, and the business of others, in an environment that fosters the greatest opportunity to network, meet new people and form relationships.

The environment of BTM’s networking events is one of being authentic and giving rather than getting!  Sabrina has been quoted as saying, "If everyone gives more, everyone stands to receive more!"  Sabrina is committed to authentic connections and encourages professionals to relate with one another on a genuine level.  All of this combined has resulted in attracting professionals who are truly focused on building relationships and adding value to the lives of others.

While Behind The Moon hosts its own monthly networking events, Sabrina enjoys participating in and collaborating with a variety of Denver Metro area networking groups. And when not on the networking circuit, you will find Sabrina speaking to audiences about effective networking techniques, the power of partnerships and collaboration vs. competition, and the principles of service and giving as a means to grow and flourish in business.

Sabrina is a contributing author to the anthology-style book titled Speaking Your Truth: Courageous Stories From Inspiring Women, writing about the power of business partnerships.  Sabrina is also a guest author in Soulful Marketing: Heart-Centered Marketing for Conscious Entrepreneurs, writing about the Roles Professionals Play at Networking Events.

Moving to Colorado in 1997, Sabrina is originally from Orange County, California.  Graduating from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, Sabrina received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, with Minor Degrees in Business and German.  Sabrina is an active volunteer at Southeast Christian Church and Southeast Christian Community Outreach (SECOR), benefiting those in need in the Denver area.  In her spare time, Sabrina enjoys reading personal growth and business books (Bob Burg is her favorite author), health and fitness related activities, has hiked a handful of Colorado's "fourtneers," and enjoys attending sporting events and spending time with her family.
