What is most important to us is making sure you feel you are getting the most out of your time spent away from work. Therefore, during our professional networking events we strive to provide a unique means for entrepreneurs to promote themselves in an environment that fosters the greatest opportunity to network and meet new people. A complete calendar of Behind The Moon business networking events can be viewed by selecting the "EVENTS" link in the top margin. Once there, you will also be able to select an event and review its details.
RSVPs ~ Unless specified, your RSVP is not required to attend our Colorado business networking events. Join us as often as you'd like and when it's convenient for you. Be sure to check our calendar for notice of cancellations due to inclement weather or for other reasons.
Daytime Business Networking Events ~ We begin all daytime events with approximately 45 minutes of open networking time. At each event, participants receive a nametag upon check in to facilitate introductions and make it easier to approach those you've never met. The group is then brought together to allow partcipants to introduce themselves. Listen as we go around the room for Power Partners and Referral Sources. We also have what we call a 5-Minute Forum of Education where we share practical information that you can use immediately in your business. Enjoy our free raffle to which participants can donate items to promote their business (samples, gift certificates, gift cards, special offers, etc). Raffle winners select their prize so each item is sure to go home with an interested party. Signing in is optional at our events. To those who sign in, we distribute the Business Directory and encourage follow up and continued networking!
After Hours Denver Area Business Networking Events ~ At our after hours business networking events, you can enjoy pure professional networking for 2 hours or more. At each event, participants receive a nametag upon check in to facilitate introductions and make it easier to approach those you've never met. The group may be brought together for special announcements or promotions however we do not conduct introductions or our 5-Minute Forum of Education. To those who sign in, we distribute the Business Directory and encourage follow up and continued business networking!
Payment
We accept payment at the door in the form of Cash, Check or Charge.

About Behind the Moon Business Networking
Behind The Moon Denver business networking first started with one small “business network meeting” in June, 2004. From this evolved a loosely-organized membership-based group where fees, leads and referrals were not required. We were a fun group and thoroughly enjoyed our monthly networking meetings. We called ourselves It’s a Small World as our focus was on a specific industry, namely babies and young families.
Our networking efforts were so successful, that word about our existence and its benefits began to spread. Companies from other industries requested to participate. We reluctantly turned them away, since this ran counter to our original decision to admit only “power partner” businesses which catered to babies and young families.
We soon realized that we could support and assist each other in our business endeavors regardless of the industry we represented. As a result, “It’s a Small World” bust open its doors and now enjoys a wonderful mix of businesses, representing a variety of fields and industries. In the spirit of It’s A Small World, Behind the Moon now organizes several monthly Denver business networking opportunities.
We welcome you to our website and our business networking events, where we strive to provide a unique means to promote small businesses in an environment that fosters the greatest opportunity to network and meet new people.
