Q: What can I expect when I attend a Behind The Moon business networking event?
A: Our day and evening networking events are run a little differently.
Daytime Professional Networking Events ~ We begin all daytime networking events with approximately 30 minutes of open networking. At each event, participants receive a nametag upon check in to facilitate introductions. The group is then brought together so learn more about Behind The Moon and to allow participants to formally introduce themselves to the group. We encourage participants to listen for Power Partners and Referral Sources. We offer a 5-Minute Forum of Education of practical information, and a free raffle designed for all attendees to promote their business. At our events, we encourage partcipants to follow up with the professionals they meet at our events in order to augment and get the most out of their networking!
After Hours Business Networking Events ~ Our Denver area after hours professional networking events include 2 hours of pure mixer-style, open networking. At each event, participants receive a nametag upon check in to facilitate introductions. The group may be brought together for special announcements, promotions and give-aways. Participants do not introduce themselve to the group as attendance is too high at our eventing events to do so in a timely manner. At all our events, we encourage partcipants to follow up with the professionals they meet at our events in order to augment and get the most out of their networking!
Q: Am I required to RSVP prior to attending a Behind The Moon professional business networking event?
A: Unless specified, an RSVP is not required. Join us as often as you'd like and when it's convenient for you. In most instances, discounted pre-registration is offered to attend our After Hours and special events. In winter months, we encourage you to check our online calendar for notifications of cancellations due to inclement weather.
Q: How many participants attend Behind The Moon business networking events?
A: We don’t feel the number of participants is important. You can attend an event with just 5 participants and make 5 amazing connections. You can also attend an event with 100 participants and walk away with 5 amazing connections. But since you asked, our daytime networking events typically draw 20 to 40+ professionals, our After Hours events draw 50-100+ professionals.
Q: How great is the opportunity to meet new people?
A: If you are networking to grow your business and form new strategic alliances, it’s vital to meet new people but also to strengthen and maintain existing relationships. At our events, you will have the opportunity to engage on both fronts. We make great efforts to promote our events to attract new professionals, allowing you the opportunity to meet new people. You will also see some of the same people at our events that you’ve met before, allowing you to continue previous conversations and grow and nurture the existing relationship.
Q: Who can attend Behind The Moon Networking Events?
A: We do not limit who can attend. All of our professional networking events are open to all industries and companies, men and women. It is possible that multiple participants from the same industry or even the same company could be in attendance at the same event. We have found that regardless of who attends, people do business with and refer to those with whom they have formed a trusting relationship. Our professional networking events are a combination of business-to-business and business-to-consumer networking, from Fortune 500 companies to smaller, home-based businesses. We always say, you will not necessarily "do" business with those who attend our events but we attract some of ther most well-connected professionals in Denver. You never know who they know and whom they might be able to refer to you!
Q: Am I required to be a Member in order to attend business networking events or workshops?
A: Membership is never required to participate. We also do not have lead passing or attendance requirements. Just join us when you can and pay as you go. Most of the professionals you meet at our Denver are networking events are Behind The Moon members.
Q: What is the cost for a Behind The Moon membership and what is included?
A: We offer three Membership Levels, Standard, Premium and VIP which can be paid on a monthly or annual basis.

Q: How much does it cost to attend Behind The Moon professional networking events and where does the money go?
A: Behind The Moon Standard Members pay $6 or $9 per daytime networking event, non-members pay $12 or $18 per daytime networking event. The costs varies based on which event you attend.
Costs vary for our After Hours yet range from $10 to $15 for Standard Members and $15 to $20 for non-members. Premium and VIP Members are able to attend as many regular daytime and After Hours events as they would like at no additional per event fee.
Behind The Moon is a for-profit networking organization. Funds collected contribute to paying staff and fees associated with administration and operating expenses to promote, organize / host events and maintain an Internet presence with website and social media campaigns for Behind The Moon and its Members.

A: The Spotlight is reserved for Behind The Moon Premium and Standard members only to showcase their business with one full page on our website, featured in our monthly newsletter received by thousands of professionals and promoted to the BTM team's more than 100,000 social media connections. Previous Spotlights are also Archived on the BTM website for future exposure. Premium Members pay $99 for their Spotlight and VIP members receive a free Spotlight. Members!
